In December 1998, I embarked on my military career by joining the Air Force Reserve. My journey began with basic training at Lackland AFB in January 1999, followed by specialized training in power production at Wichita Falls, TX. 2005-2015: Career Transitions and Skill Expansion
The closure of the 926th Fighter Wing in 2005 led to a period of exploration. I dabbled in retail jobs and delved into computer networking, broadening my skill set. In 2008, I rejoined the Air Force Reserves, this time with the 403d Airlift Wing at Keesler AFB. This phase of my career was characterized by diverse duty stations and continued growth as an engineering technician. It was during this time that I began to truly appreciate the value of adaptability in my military career.

2015-2022: Educational Pursuits and Final Military Years
The year 2015 marked a significant turning point. I joined the 159th Fighter Wing in the Louisiana Air National Guard and simultaneously enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program, later switching to Computer Science. This period was a whirlwind of academic achievements, including mastering C++ and Java, and completing a creative writing course. My military career culminated with the 214th Engineering & Installation Squadron, where I applied my expanding knowledge base to real-world projects.
Throughout my military career, I've worn many hats - from power production specialist to engineering technician, and eventually, IT consultant. I have also trained to drive commercial vehicles with 53' trailers, specializing in flatbed driving.
Each role brought its own set of challenges and learning opportunities, shaping me into a versatile professional. The journey wasn't always smooth, with base closures and career shifts presenting obstacles along the way. However, these challenges only fueled my determination to adapt and grow. My experiences in the military fostered a passion for continuous learning that extended beyond my official duties.
I've explored graphic design, video editing, digital marketing, and music production always seeking to expand my skill set.
This diverse knowledge base has proven invaluable, allowing me to approach problems from multiple angles and contribute uniquely to each project I've been involved in. My focus now is to educate myself as well as others in financial literacy and work as a project manager.
As I reflect on my military career, which concluded with my retirement on August 24, 2022, I'm filled with a sense of nostalgia and pride.
The journey has been one of constant growth, unexpected turns, and invaluable lessons. From the deserts of Saudi Arabia to the IT consulting world, each experience has contributed to shaping the professional I am today - adaptable, resilient, and always eager to learn.
